Results you may expect from using Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32:

Based on the ingredient analysis by CreamScan, these are the key benefits you can expect from using Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32:

  • Significant moisturizing. It has a moisturizing rating of 6.8 out of 10.
  • Some anti-wrinkle efficacy: Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32 has an anti-wrinkle rating of 2.5 out of 10 so you may expect some, although limited, effect on wrinkles.
  • High sun protection for extended outdoor activities and exposure.

How moisturizing is it?

Highly moisturizing: Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32 has a moisturizing rating of 6.8 out of 10.

Is it more humectant or occlusive? Significantly more humectant. It has a maximum humectancy of 10 out of 10, primarily due to the substantial concentration of Glycerin (est. ≈9.0%) and Butylene Glycol (est. ≈3.0%), and a moderate occlusivity of 3.7 out of 10, mainly due to the high content of Triethylhexanoin (est. ≈4.0%) and Dimethicone (est. ≈2.5%).

Please refer to the Ratings section below for details of the moisturizing rating calculation.

Anti-wrinkle efficacy

According to CreamScan analysis, Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32 has a slight anti-wrinkle rating of 2.5 out of 10. It contains one ingredient with proven anti-wrinkle efficacy: Retinol (est. ≈0.1%),
the most effective non-prescription ingredient with well-proven efficacy to reduce wrinkles.

Among others, Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32 also contains Sodium Ascorbate, an ingredient marketed as effective in reducing wrinkles. However, the studies supporting the anti-wrinkle claims of Sodium Ascorbate provide insufficient evidence of its efficacy according to CreamScan Research Evaluation Standards. Therefore, this ingredient does not contribute to the anti-wrinkle rating.

Moisturizers, when used regularly, are proven to prevent wrinkle formation and even reduce existing wrinkles. Therefore, this product, like any other moisturizer, could deliver additional anti-wrinkle efficacy through its moisturizing action.

Please refer to the Ratings section below for details of the anti-wrinkle rating calculation.

Sun protection

Excel Day Skin Comfort Cream SPF 32 has an SPF of 32 and provides high sun protection. This level of protection is ideal for activities such as spending time at the beach, outdoor sports, or other activities involving prolonged sun exposure. It's important to apply sunscreen generously and reapply every two hours or after swimming or sweating to maintain effectiveness.
