Oryza sativa germ oil is a fatty, emollient oil extracted from the germ part of the rice seed.
It is very similar to rice bran oil, but with some subtle differences: rice germ oil contains oleic, linoleic, and linolenic acid in equal amounts, plus the fairly unique arachidonic acid (it doesn't appear in the content list of plant oils very often). This constitution makes it a beneficial occlusive moisturizing and emollient oil suitable for all skin types. It doesn't leave a sticky residue and feels very light on the skin.
