Overview

Yeast extract, also labeled as faex extract, is a natural ingredient derived from fresh yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae), also known as baker's yeast. This yeast has been used in baking and fermentation for centuries.

The extract moisturizes skin by retaining water, helps shield injured or exposed skin, and, thanks to the content of a special polysaccharide called beta-glucan, can help with the skin’s wound healing process.
