Overview

Vaccinium macrocarpon seed oil is obtained from the seeds of cranberries, sour-tasting red berries native to Canada and the northeastern part of the United States.

Cranberry seed oil contains an emollient combination of omega-3,-6, and -9 fatty acids and is rich in antioxidants. It acts as an occlusive: keeping the skin hydrated by retarding moisture loss.
