Origin
Sodium Polyaspartate

Overview

Sodium polyaspartate is a synthetically made polymer from repeating aspartic acid units. Since aspartic acid is an amino acid, this polymer has protein-like properties.

As a cosmetic ingredient, sodium polyaspartate provides excellent humectant moisturizing and smoothing effects for the skin and hair, forming a soft and smooth film on the skin’s surface.
