Simmondsia chinensis seed extract is an extract obtained from the seeds of the Simmondsia chinensis, or jojoba. The seeds are mostly known for their oil content, although the extract from the whole seeds has a long tradition of use among Native American tribes, due to its antioxidant and emollient effects when applied to the skin.
