Overview
Rosa damascena flower extract is an extract obtained from the flowers of the Rosa damascena – the Damask rose.
It contains a significant amount of rose essential oil, which gives the extract (and the whole cosmetic product) a fresh rosy scent. Rose petals also contain other phytochemicals such as tannins, which have astringent properties and give the skin a tightening feeling.
