Overview
Prunus armeniaca seed powder is a powder made from ground apricot seed shells. You can read more about the content and uses of apricot seed oil here.
The seed powder, however, doesn’t use the kernel, but only the shell. Ground to a fine powder, it is used as an abrasive for peelings (as a biodegradable alternative to little abrasive plastic balls).
The only downside is that during the grinding, the shell breaks into sharp-edged particles that might irritate more sensitive skin types, or produce micro-fractures on the skin’s surface.
