Porphyridium cruentum extract is an extract derived from Porphyridium cruentum, a species of marine microscopic red algae. It is commercially cultivated for the production of B-Phycoerythrin, a natural pink dye.
The extract also contains proteins, fatty acids, and special algal polysaccharides.
