Palmaria palmata extract is an extract derived from a species of large red algae that grows on the northern coasts. It contains various amino acids, lipids, and algal pigments and is used in skicare for its antioxidant properties.

The alga is edible and eaten in Ireland as a popular snack called Dulse. There isn't much known about this extract beyond this, as it has not been researched much in scientific studies.
