Overview

Oleic/Linoleic/Linolenic polyglycerides are emollient ingredients that are made up of fatty acid triglycerides, where the fatty acids are either oleic, linoleic, or linolenic acid. These are all unsaturated fatty acids; oleic acid is mono-unsaturated (only has one double bond), whereas linoleic and linolenic are polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Every molecule of a triglyceride requires three fatty acids, either all the same or any combination of the three. This mixture is liquid and emollient.

Due to the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, the ingredient feels light on the skin and doesn't leave a sticky residue.
