Moringa oleifera seed extract is an extract obtained from the seeds of the Moringa oleifera, a fast-growing bush native to Northern India and the sub-Himalayan regions.
It contains many vitamins from the B group and nutrients such as amino acids and sugars, as well as many phytochemicals that have not been fully described yet.
Of those that we know about, the most important are organic acids, flavonoids, and alkaloids. These have notable antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. The extract has also been shown to have astringent properties.
