Overview

Mentha arvensis leaf oil is a fragrant, volatile essential oil distilled from the leaves of wild mint (Mentha arvensis). The wild mint essential oil is very similar to peppermint oil.

Its fresh, cool, minty scent is due to its content of menthol (70%), menthone, isomenthone, and neomenthol. It is used as a refreshing, cooling fragrance in skincare and creates a cold sensation on the skin.
