Overview
Lonicera caprifolium flower extract is extracted from the flowers of the Italian honeysuckle, Lonicera caprifolium. This is a less well-known sister species to the more famous Japanese honeysuckle, Lonicera japonica. The flowers of Italian honeysuckle are light pink and very fragrant.
The extract is used as a fragrance, similarly to the extract of the Japanese honeysuckle. Aside from its pleasant, sweet, floral scent, not much is known about any of the other active compounds from the Italian honeysuckle.
