Functions
Origin
Isononyl Isononanoate

Overview

Isononyl isononanoate is an ester of a branched fatty acid with a branched fatty alcohol. The branching of their lipid-soluble tails gives Isononyl Isononanoate some extra lipid-soluble properties.

It is used as a well-spreadable emollient and leaves a silky, dry, and non-greasy feeling on the skin.
