Isodecyl neopentanoate is an ultra-lightweight emollient ester. This ingredient is a thin, clear, and colorless liquid that produces a very silky feel upon application.
It is frequently used to reduce greasiness and tack in various skincare products and is useful for producing very lightweight lotions. Isodecyl neopentanoate also works to reduce clogging in aerosol formulations.
