Overview

Hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin is a white crystalline powder that can be sourced either naturally or synthetically.

It is typically added to skincare products formulation as a fragrance agent or a formula helper. As a fragrance agent, hydroxypropyl cyclodextrin helps mask scents of other ingredients that might be unpleasant. At the same time this ingredient can stabilize a product formulation.
