Cupressus Sempervirens Oil

Overview

Cupressus sempervirens oil is an essential oil distilled from the twigs and leaves of the Italian cypress, Cupressus sempervirens. The essential oil has a woody, piney scent due to the essential oil composition – the main constituents are alpha-pinene (68%), cedrol, terpinyl acetate, and germacrene.

Cupressus sempervirens oil is used as a fragrance and, as is common with many essential oils, may cause a contact or sun-induced allergy in more sensitive individuals.
