Overview

Coriandrum sativum fruit oil is an essential oil distilled from coriander (cilantro) seeds. Cilantro seeds taste different from the leaves – they are warm, nutty, and spicy. This is due to the presence of essential oil compounds such as linalool, borneol, pinene, and cymene.

Coriandrum sativum fruit oil is sometimes used as a fragrance in skincare products, but not often.

People sensitive to fragrances should always test the product first before use, to see if they have any kind of skin reaction because of it.
