Overview

Cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate is a phospholipid that is derived from coconut oil. This phospholipid is considered a surfactant because it features an oil-loving side and a water-loving side, which allows it to clear dirt and oil away from the skin.

A very mild cleansing agent, cocamidopropyl PG-dimonium chloride phosphate works well with other cleansing agents, such as anionic surfactants, to make them gentler on the skin.

This ingredient can also act as an anti-static agent, in which it helps to reduce static electricity buildup across the skin.
