Overview

Lime peel extract contains mainly lime essential oil, which gives it a fresh, sweet, citrus scent. The compounds in the essential oil responsible for the smell are limonene and linalyl acetate. It also contains other beneficial antioxidant compounds such as terpenoids and flavonoids.

Lime peel extract might cause photosensitivity in more sensitive individuals, especially if you are sunbathing directly after the application of the product. Always make sure to test it first on a small patch of skin before use.
