Overview
Caprylyl/capryl glucoside is a non-ionic cleansing agent, also known as a surfactant. Derived from vegetables and coconut or palm oil, this renewably sourced ingredient is compatible with all types of surfactants, such as cationics, anionics, and amphoterics.
Although it works well with all surfactants, it can also be used alone as a cleansing agent. In addition to acting as a cleansing agent, caprylyl/capryl glucoside also serves as a foam booster and provides a very mild alternative to some of the stronger surfactants.
