Overview
Amyris balsamifera bark oil is an amber-colored essential oil distilled from the bark of the Amyris tree, also known as torchwood because of its high flammability. The oil releases a woody scent and is often used in aromatherapy to help melt away stress.
It is also added to perfumes to help fragrances last longer. Amyris essential oil is sometimes used as a substitute for the more expensive and rare sandalwood oil.
