Overview
Amyl cinnamal is a synthetic fragrance oil. This ingredient does occur naturally in some plants, but it is made synthetically for cosmetic purposes.
The fragrance offered by amyl cinnamal is sweet and floral – reminiscent of jasmine. Supplied as a pale yellow liquid, this ingredient is technically considered an allergen at full strength, but it usually does not cause issues when used at appropriate fragrance levels.
