Aloe barbadensis leaf water is a fragrant aqueous solution distilled from the leaves of Aloe barbadensis (or Aloe vera, which is the same plant). It retains the fresh green smell of aloe leaves and is also able to mask the smell of other ingredients.
It is used as a fragrance in skincare products and as an aqueous base for lotions. Unfortunately, not much is known about the chemical composition of the aloe scent.
